On the 12th Day of Christmas

Just recently, we found out that the Twelve Days of Christmas has a Catholic background.  It was originally created in England to help young Catholics learn their faith. In the time that it was created, Catholics could not have anything in writing about the faith or they would have been killed. The song helped them remember significant aspects of the Catholic faith.
