Navy Football

This past weekend I went to the Navy Football game.  

I love football games.  

It was an awesome game to watch because they were playing against my Alumni!

Varsity Catholic

Hello, my name is Aly and I am a Varsity Catholic Missionary

at Loras College.  As a missionary, I work full time serving the student

atheltes and inviting them into a growing relationshipe with Jesus Christ.

I am a first year missionary and I am enjoying the opportunity

God has blessed me with. Varsity Catholic was founded in 2007 within the

organization called FOCUS - the Fellowship of Catholic University Students.  The

organization relaized the unique needs and challenges that student athletes faced

and decided to create this ministry for those students. We currently serve on

7 of the 43 FOCUS colleges.

Inviting college students into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.
Inspiring and equipping them for a lifetime of Christ-centered evangelization,
discipleship, and friendship in which they lead others to do the same.

Our Mission 

To know Christ Jesus, and to fulfill His great commission by first living and then
communicating the fullness of life within the family of God, the Church.

We are both blessed to be FOCUS missionaries and to serve college students on our respective colleges: The United States Naval Academy and Loras College.  College is a pivotal moment in everyone's life.  Many life decisions are made on the college campus and several students fall away from their faith.  Our job is to go out and meet students, where they are in their walk of faith, then guide them through bible studies and one-on-one mentorship
into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
