I directed and edited this music video promo made to encourage students at Boston schools to attend the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) 2013 National Conference "SEEK" in Orlando, Florida.
• Starring Levi Rash, Justin Petrisek and Emily Cook, with appearances by the FOCUS teams at BU, MIT and Harvard.
• Shot on Canon 7D, edited with Avid Media Composer 6.

Decisions Decisions

When I am going through a tough decision in my life, I tend to panic! 

Especially when it is a tough decision and I am not sure which way to go. 

I feel like I have hit a fork in the road and I'm being asked to choose a path. 

And then it hits me....I'm not the one in charge. 

God has a plan for me and it is way better than 

anything I could possibly come up with myself. 

It is key when making a decision to pray.

I enjoy sitting before our Lord in the blessed sacrament.

I also enjoy reading scripture. 

These are two bible verses that I really enjoy: 

I consider the sufferings

of this present time 

are not worth comparing 

with the glory 

that is to be revealed to us. 

{Romans 8:18} 

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, 

and do not rely on your own insight. 

In all your ways acknowledge him, 

and he will make straight your paths. 

{Proverbs 3:5-6}

I have to make a huge decision tomorrow, so I will be spending my day in prayer.

Thanksgiving is this week and I'm off to the airport tomorrow.

Here are some of the things that I like to bring with me on the flight: 

{one} GUM. I always like to bring some gum to chew on the plane because my ears always pop.

{two} iPhone. I definitely pack my iPhone. I like to jam to music, play games, or listen to a good audio book. If you bring your phone, do not forget to put it on airplane mode. 

{three} headphones. These are a must.  You don't want to distract others on the plane with your hip beats, so be considerate of others around you.
{four} hand sanitizer. There are tons of germs on airplanes, so bring your hand sanitizer.
{five} books. I love to read books, while I'm flying. There are so many good books.  I am bring my nook, which has a few books that I'm reading: Captivating and Rediscovering Catholicism

If you are flying this week, have a safe flight!

The new James Bond movie came out November 9th! 

I really want to go out and see this movie.
I have seen a lot of James Bond movies and they are amazing.

Brrr... It's Cold Outside

It is 24 degrees outside and there has been a bit of snow too!! 

Here are a few things I enjoy during the cold weather: 

 I enjoy wearing pajamas, reading books, snuggling up with my blanket, eating popcorn, 
lighting candles, reading books, drinking warm beverages, watching movies,
 using chapstick, and wearing comfortable clothing.

Veterans Day/Let Us Pray

Today is Veterans Day!

Let us honor the men and women who have served for our country! Thank you for all that you have done.  We are truly blessed for your service. Also, thank you to all the men and women who are currently serving for our country! 

Here is a prayer for our deceased veterans:

O God,
by whose mercy the faithful departed find rest,
look kindly on your departed veterans who gave their
lives in the service of their country.
Grant that through the passion, death, and resurrection of 
your Son
they may share in the joy of your heavenly kingdom
and rejoice in you with your saints forever.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Happy Saturday!

The Women Soccer team at Loras is off to a great start at the 

NCAA Division III Soccer Tournament

 

  The girls won their first game last night 2-0 and they 

have their second game tonight at 5pm! Go Duhawks! 

I am one PROUD Varsity Catholic missionary and I am 

super excited to catch a bit of the game tonight after a parish talk.

Sick Day

Today, I have spent my entire day in my room trying to kill this bug.
I have not even changed out of my pajamas!
I stocked up on sick supplies earlier this week:
- green tea with lemon
- tissues
- coffee drops that taste like candy

I have also been watching Modern Family on Hulu.
It is an awesome show! 

Well, I'm off to catch some more R&R.
